Giuliani, Mauro - Study in Am

Post by UgurYuvarlak » Sat Jan 09, 2010 12:20 am

Here I present my very first recording. This piece by Giuliani was the first piece that I had learnt a month later than I had started to learn classical guitar. I will never exclude it from my repertoire for its symbolic reason for me.

I welcome your criticisms, and I am sorry about my breathing during the recording.

Best regards

Don't worry about your breathing. We all have to breathe every now and then!

I think we all have a sentimental attachment to our first pieces, and our first recordings. This piece is usually played at a much faster tempo (I think it's marked allegro), and when you get it up to speed you'll appreciate how much of a difference tempo makes to the feel of the piece.

Nice work, especially for only one month of work on it! :casque:

Hi Ugur,

Congratulations on your first recording!

You have achieved a good clean recording—it will be interesting to hear how it develops as you become more confident and begin to attack the tempo a little more,

Best wishes, V :) :merci:
