Giuliani, Mauro - op.051/02

Post by David McHarg » Wed Oct 27, 2010 9:42 pm

Hi,

This is the second little piece from Op 51 by Giuliani. A wonderful little piece i think. Recorded with Edirol R09HR + Colin Morrison guitar. This piece has a nice little section of counterpoint and also little scale sections moving in opposite directions. I think i slow down a little and pause before the final little phrase. Will post an update with much faster tempo.

Hope you enjoy.

Thanks

Well done again David. You do seem to slow and pause just before the end, but I felt that was quite a good way to draw it to a close. It is a pleasant piece. I enjoyed your performance.

Very pretty. :)
I think I'm missing out, not playing these little pieces anymore! :merci:

:bravo:

I enjoyed the recording and have added it to Delcamp library. I use the Roland Edirol also; great little gadgit.

Cheers

I love the clarity of your notes. This is such a short piece but it has a very nice melody.
Thank you for giving us these opportunities to listen to you perform, I am really enjoying every piece.
:merci:

Thanks Kay. I like the clarity that comes from recording with the edirol quite close to guitar as it enables me to get reasonably good levels.

Hi,

I updated this recording with a much faster tempo recording. Since this piece is very short i play it once at fast tempo and then slow.

Thanks
David.
