O’Connell, Gary - You’re in my Dreams

Post by FellowPlayer » Tue Jan 15, 2019 7:25 pm

An original composition. The inspiration was the love for my wife and son.
Hope some of you like it. It’s not overly technical but heartfelt.

Cheers!

Nice composition and playing!

There's a lot of compression. Not a bad thing, just personal taste.

Yes, it’s an older recording where the core file can’t be edited at this point.
The Turina dedication work I uploaded earlier here is a lot more raw and natural sounding
and am leaning that way lately. Ty for the feedback and keep up good work yourself!

Hah, I've been there. I have music posted on YT where the camera mic's automatic gain control squashed the audio but I liked the performance so posted anyway. We do what we can do.

Yes. I listened to your other music before posting. Good stuff.

Best to you, Gary.

You got it. The weakest link in the sound chain can bring it all down.
Best to you too!

It's funny, as soon as I started listening to this I thought, "This sounds just like a guy back on the e-borneo forum." Then I looked at your name and I believe it is you.

Nice job.

Now that goes way back! Made some musical friends there and bet you did too.
