Fresquet-Serret, Eliseo - Domenica (Sunday)

Post by Eliseo » Thu Apr 25, 2019 11:28 am

Dear colleagues of the forum,
I thank the guitarist Raimon Serra Anglada for the great interpretation of one of my last compositions. When I sent him the score I told him two things, that the title was in Italian, Domenica, Sunday and that:
"The piece tries to explain everything that usually happens on a day like Sunday, we already know that on the rest day it is not usually early and it is difficult to get out of bed, children often interrupt our rest and sleep, we act With indifference, we find it hard to wake up and leave that state of drowsiness, yawn more than usual, breakfast is eaten late, and naturally everything is usually done as calmly as possible, naturally, it is Sunday. "

Yes, Raimon has managed to capture my explanation, molding to the last corner of the melody with his peculiar style. I congratulate you Raimon!
