Pati, Luigi - A Saturday In The Town - Video

Post by Luigi Pati » Sun Apr 28, 2019 12:54 pm

''A Saturday In The Town'' is a poem written by existentialist poet and philosopher Giacomo Leopardi. It depicts human finitude. It illustrates a young boy who happily strolls the streets amongst the townspeople, who are preparing to celebrate Sunday after a workweek.

The paintings, as always, are by super amazing and most awesome painter John Atkinson Grimshaw, my favourite painter.
