So, today I'm in recording mood 8) It is work in progress. Hm, will take my lifetime to be really happy with my own performance, but for now....

and for the neighbours: Well, don't throw your doors when I am recording!!!

You underestimate yourself! This is a beautiful performance of this lovely piece of music. Sometimes the tone of your playing was truly wonderful. Thank you for this, it's going in my "one day I'll try it" file. Best wishes, V.

Thanks Matt and Vesuvio!!

As for tone: I am not yet really sure how to get the best sound for the high melody notes :( Rest stroke doesnt work, cause its dampening the open b string. And no matter how hard I try, my free stroke wont sound like a rest stroke.

Then I have to work on a more consistent speed, and get rid of the erratic changes in tone color and loudness.

I think I'll post an update sooner or later.

I am listening to your performance as I am writing this post. Am really enjoying it. :) Well done.
I''ve a lot of questions for you. What is the make of your guitar? Which strings are you using? Which software did you use for your recording?
There are two more variations to this piece isn't there? When will you be recording them?

Are you a female? If yes are you married? If no will you marry me please? :?:

Thanks mika and aom!!! Thanks for listening!

@Anupam: My guitar is a rather cheap student model from Ortega, cedar top. I use savarez carbon strings mostly. For recording I use a harddisk recorder from tascam and a tube condenser mic.

And, no I am not female  And unfortunately I don't marry people I don't know yet .... But I love India. Used to learn Hindi and Sitar a bit.

All the best to you, namaste
Wolfgang
