I apologize for the poor quality of the recording and audio, but I wanted to post something, so here it is:

Hello jrannik and thank you for the chance to enjoy these interpretations—which I have done, very much.

Laki :merci:

Hello jrannik,

Very well played! I especially liked the Prelude, you have nice sensitive phrasing in it, and Allegro is moving very well, too. The Andante religioso was good, too, but I think the sound was a bit rough every now and then.

Good job!

Thanks Jouni!

i don't much like the andante either. It sounds alternately too metronomic or too sloppy throughout to me.

Many thanks for your input!

Hello jrannik, That was great ,well played indeed. I thought the sound quality was pretty good too! I agree the prelude & allegro sound the best. Thanks for sharing.

Agustin Barrios Mangore is an artist I have only recently come across, & I have had a go at Julia Florida. Can you recommend anything else he has composed, preferably a little simpler than the pieces you have demonstrated.

Cheers

Many thanks for the kind words, Woodstock. Do you know Barrios's Prelude in C Minor? It's a really haunting and beautiful work. See the following link for a clip of Jerome Ducharme performing in magnificently - http://youtube.com/watch?v=SZzQDzyLsIA

And thanks to everyone else as well for the encouragement!!

Hi jrannik

I listened to the Prelude in C minor by Jerome Ducharme & I agree with your comments. Shame about the guy in the audience clearing his throat after about 20 seconds but nevertheless a lovely piece of music. I also managed to download the score, so I'll give it a go.

Thanks for the recommendation.
