A life without music is possible but very poor.

Hi Owl,

Really wonderful playing you've presented here, very expressive and original with great phrasing! :D

I love the way the entire movement flows so smoothly and elegantly in your interpretation. The structure is very clear to the listener as well.

I really like your tone on this recording too, it's very sweet and so clear it rings like a bell of "La Catedral"

Thanks very much for sharing,

Aryeh

:bravo:

Thank you all for listening... I'm happy you enjoyed the music
It was my pleasure to play for you :D

Sailing was great Norban... I crewed on a 25' trimaran in the Westerly Trophy race
It was so exciting... we pipped a 36' catamaran right on the finish markers to come in third

This is something I was discussing with a forum friend just this week... I felt that this time around the music was more defined and clear... in a sense easier for the listener to take hold of
I'm less of a romantic player these days

Thank you all again for leaving a comment... I'm most appreciative :)

Not qualifed to comment on the techniques, I can only be amazed of the sound quality you can make out of your guitar. That's a lovely piece with a lot of brilliant expression.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

Hi Owl-

I just noticed that you made this available.
Beautiful rendition.
I still have your older version.
I've been listening to each version.
Fascinating to see where you've taken this piece over time.
The older version is heartbreaking, filled w/ pathos.
I can't put words to what I hear from the more recent version.
It's more complex emotionally.
While the minor key still makes it "sad" there's more joy, or a triumphant(?) feeling here.
Triumphant's not the right word, but there's a happier feeling here.
Pretty hard to do in a minor key, wouldn't you agree?
It's the same guitar right? What kind is it?

Really lovely.
Thank you, :D

Very very nice.Your playing is touching, and inspirational as usual. This particular recording is so much clearer than the first... It brings the experience to a whole new level.

It will certainly be listening to it right up there with Ana Vidovic's or Berta Roja's renditions.

Can't wait for the other two movements, and maybe a repost of Chaconne?

Thanks for sharing your playing with us!
