Mark,

If this is played on a borrowed, bad guitar, I would like to hear your version on your own guitar.
This was very nice listening to.

Thanks,
Reinier

:merci: :merci: all of you for your feedback !!!!

I am very happy you like it :mouton:

Brent, thanks for your suggestion. You are propably right about the tempo toward the end.

Masoroso, Barrios has not been my favorit composer too, for a very long time.
At the same time as he did his work, we had in europe Ravel, Debussy, Strawinski and many, many others who discovered a completely new musical languages. Well, I was always wondering why he did not want to explore "the new areas".
After few years refusing of playing Barrios I tried it.... and .... I definately changed my mind about his work. I love his art for the beauty of his melodies. Most of them are indeed quite simple ones.

Lucian, I am very happy you got the impression that it "flows". I was thinking just in that direction while playing :D

Mika.... I will let you know when I play a concert in Germany and ....of course you got the free entrance

Once more about the instrument- I will record second version with my guitar soon. I am sure you will hear the difference.

A fantastic recording of this piece! I had started learning this a while ago, but stopped about where the arpeggios start. You play it so well, I am envious at the ease with which it sounds like you pulled this piece off!
Great stuff, I would love to hear more from you.
BARRIOS RULEZ!!!!!!!

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your kindly wodrs !!!

Well, the arpeggios were not easy for me. I had to practice it for a longer time as a daily exercise with different rhytmic patterns-I played it even as a warmimg-up "tune" veeeeery slowly and very loud. Now it works, it just needs some time because of its irregularity.

Perhaps you try once more ?

Cheers,
Mark

PS. The chords sequence at the end is also something to practice a little bit more :D
