Hi All,

Sorry for the late post. I have been very busy over the last few weeks. I am also trying a guitar with a 664mm scale which is longer than my other 650mm scale so that has taken me some time to adjust during the lessons.

I had some trouble with these lessons. I am really critical about buzz from my fingers hitting the strings and some other nuances I have been trying to ditch. I am working on a more fluid and natural sound and not being so choppy. Any helpful feedback will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

Brian
As always your pieces were flawless. I liked the way you played Lecion Opus 60; you modulated the sound so beautifully and pitched in with some silent parts by holding back a little while before playing the next notes. This really took the piece to another level and I loved it. :bravo:

Scott
You played well and I especially liked Ricercar. Keep up the good work and practice hard ! ! :casque:

Halil
Absolutely fabulous work ! ! You were just brilliant. I could feel how comfortable you really were while playing these pieces. I really have no words beyond this. :D

Eddy
This is the third lesson of yours that I am watching in one single day and all I can say is you have surely made a very good progress. You have put in a lot of hard work and it is evident in your pieces. Nice work ! :bravo:

Barberra
Wow ! You have played so well and this is tremendous progress. You seemed very relaxed and your fingers moved effortlessly from one note to another. Good work ! ! A little more practice and you will be able to eliminate the residual hiccups here and there.

Bill
I like the sound of your guitar. You were brilliant with Lecion Opus 60. I don't how you manage to sail through your pieces so easily. You make them look so simple but they are not. Great work ! ! :bravo:

No one is playing with us :(

edit: I think I should have played the bass notes with my thumb.

Scott,
Nicely done. I think if you slowed down a bit and hold the note a millisecond longer with your finger, it would sound more flowing and musical. But otherwise, nice!

Hi Eddy,

I have nothing to add really. You did play the melody well and like others have already commented, just slow down a bit and let the finger rest a little longer on the note.

Bill,
Very well done as always. I thought it sounded very fluid and musical. The buzz: could it be the strings are not tightly enough wound? Or they need to be stretched? I thought opus was your best. On Ricercari, you played it well. I just noticed you did not damp the last bass note.

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for your feedback. I am confident the buzz is from being lazy and not moving my picking finger away in time. I did put a new set of strings on, they are in the process of stretching. The scale on this guitar makes it a little harder to play, but I like the sound. My other guitar plays a lot easier and sounds good to me also, but it's a bit more mellow. It doesn't happen too often. Usually when I am tired.

I liked the progress you have made. There is some nice improvements since we started. Opus 60 sounded nice even though there were a few hickups along the way :bravo:
Thank you, Bill
