You're welcome, Barbara. Your post won't show up until the moderator approves you to join, keep checking back on that forum, and go ahead and post your request to be added to the student group. I think you need two posts to be able to post your exam.

Hello everyone :bye:
first I would like to thank our profesor Jean-Francois Delcamp and mr GeoffB who made possible for me to learn how to play classical guitar. Also I would like to thank my colleagues for commenting my work which helped me to prepare my task for every month. :merci:
I think we all made a big progress this school year and I wish that we all participate next year in cours D02. :bravo:
Best wishes to all.. :bye:

It might be easy for some people, but it isn't for me, takes quite a lot of time for me learn any of the music. I will say this is the first time in my life I've ever learned to play one single thing on guitar using music notes, and actually I've become fairly good at it now, at least to the first year level.

I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what to practice over the summer. I was thinking I'd go ahead and look at level 2 but I wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas.
Hope everyone is enjoying the summer.
thanks
Barbara

Hi Barbara,

I read somewhere, on a piano site, that it is very usefull to play the pieces played earlier, from the scores (not by heart) . Restudying scores allegedly would train sight reading and allow one to discover new details in earlier played music. However, starting already with level 2 is tempting.. Erik
