Hi Claude,
Good job. Maybe you are already working on right hand position but I noticed your fingers look very curled back for classical style. Looks very similar to how one would hold the picking hand for banjo or free stroke steel string picking.

Hi Madeleine
I have some way to go but keen to improve
Yes I can see that too, I think I will have to concentrate more and get posture right and concentrate to get my hand playing rest stroke better than I have do far
I think as my practice hours increase I will gain better control
Thank you for taking time to comment

hi Claude

Just saw your video. You have excellent understanding of the rhythm + notes - well done!

If I were you, I would look at my left hand position. Your fingers should be (more) closer to 90 degrees with the fret board. At the moment you are coming "from the top" to the frets.
Best regards,
Malan

Hi Claude,
Nice job, I think you are playing too close to the fret board, try to play as such your fingers makes almost 90 degrees to the strings.Keep practice on. :bravo:

On Au Claire de la lune, you missed the repeat at the end of the 4th bar. You need to play the first 4 bars a second time. Other than that, it was fine. Just one general comment. To me it sounds like you are playing the notes "harder" than is needed. That is giving the tone almost a buzz like quality. I think you could cut back a bit on how strongly you are striking the notes. Others may have other comments. Keep up the good work!

Here is my first post playing. D01 p6n1 and n2. Recorded with an iPad. Not the greatest thing in the world but I think it will do for now. The internet is not to fast where I am so the other videos will be coming soon. Thankyou for suffering thru this and I look forward to the feedback so I can get on the right track.

I though it was pretty good for the first week Alex! Watch that thumb on the left hand though! Try and keep it somewhere in the middle of the back of the neck. :casque:
