[PDF] Sanz, Gaspar - Hybrid's Canarios

Post by Denian Arcoleo » Wed May 27, 2009 5:46 am

This is a dictation from Hybrid's excellent (and very popular) recording of Canarios in the mp3 section.
In a couple of places I've written it in shorthand e.g. the penultimate bar of page 2 in which the high D major chord is strummed ( p,m,m, p,m,m - I think) right through including the second beat where the internal F# rises to a G. Also, the last two bars of the first line of page three; I've just written the names of the chords but the strumming (as before) continues on them in their high fretboard voicings. Lastly, I was too lazy to write the very last two bars of chords

Thanks Denian for contributing. It's pretty cool to see this in your own handwriting since we've all gotten use to computer generated scores.

Your welcome. Actually, uploading the pdf here is a really good way for me to know where to find a copy if I can't make sense of the chaos in my music room

Thanks! Wanted you to know that even 9 years later some of us are finding your dictation and diving into this piece! Easily the most exciting take on Canarios that I've found...
