[PDF] Schmelzer, J. H. - Sonatina DSS No. 1 - Duo

This is a trio sonata from Duodena Selectarum Sonatarum by Johann Heinrich Schmelzer (c.1620–23 –1680). Guitar 1 and 2 both have the bass line with their requisite violin parts down an octave in the original key of D major. An optional plain bass part is provided which could have some chords added from either the score or by adapting the (non-original) continuo part in the ancient scholarly edition of DSS.
