Suite in Em by Weiss(From Naod Baroque)

Hello.

I have been playing the Suite in Em by Weiss (From Naod Baroque) for a while now and recently put in a long drmatic trill at the very end (from BM7-Em) and I was just wondering what the opinion was on this especially because it is the openeing Prelude. Any comments? Thanks.

If you're talking about the end of the Prelude, a long dramatic trill isn't what I'd play there. The changes of rhythm from bar 16 onwards suggest to me a build up of tension and drama that then begins to fade towards a quieter ending in the last bar and a half. So if I put a trill there at all it would be a short rapidly passing one in the course of a slight rallentando. But I don't think there's a "right" answer!
