Practicing guitar in Espoo, Finland

Post by Jori Bomanson » Mon Aug 14, 2017 5:09 pm

Hello everyone,

I have played classical guitar for a long long time, from around 10-12 years old. It is the only instrument I have ever really played and I am very happy with the choice. I have been taking lessons for pretty much the entire time. However, the amount I practice has followed the expected curve for an amateur guitar player: a lot of playing as a teenager and not so much playing since.

Perhaps that will change now and I will start practicing more. Perhaps not - - we will see :D

Historically, I have mostly played Bach and Leo Brouwer, and more recently Villa-Lobos. Out of these, I find that Villa-Lobos' music is the easiest to learn given limited time, Brouwer's music is the most beautiful, and Bach's music is... everything, I suppose

Now I am joining this forum, because I am hunting for scores!

Welcome, Jori! Glad to see you joining the forum :)
I especially like your playing of Bach's and Brouwer's music: tone color, dynamics, everything is there.
