Hello From Southern California

Hello Everyone, I'm pleased to be a part of this group. I began playing guitar at the age of 12 with Frederick Noad's television program, I'm 47yrs now, however during my 30's, life interrupted my practice for a few years. I studied guitar performance at PCC and then USC in the 90's and had the pleasure of studying with John Dearman, William Kanengiser, and Scott Tenant. A few years back I traveled to Chile and took a few privates from Ximena Matamoros, she's head of the guitar department at Universidad De Chile. I heard one of her students playing one of her compositions, Oceano, I loved it, bought it, and asked her for lessons. She even invited me to her guitar teacher's home and we had a fun little jam session. I look forward learning from this group.
Thank you.
