Hello from Scotland

Post by Argent » Sun Dec 02, 2018 5:00 pm

Hi there

I’m a guitar teacher from Scotland and have recently seriously got back in to my playing. So much so that I am on the waiting list for a Replica Stauffer Legnani model guitar 😊 I look forward to chatting with you all on the forum.

Thanks
Stewart

Hi Stewart,

Welcome to the forum! Please have a look at this page for some useful information to get you started, including links to the rules and helpfiles. After your second message has been approved, you will have access to all members' scores and recordings plus the first 3 levels of the Delcamp score collections. After you have posted 20 messages, you can apply for the 020 group, which will give you access to the remaining levels. Just ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around!

Best wishes,
Geoff

....and from Aberdeen!

Do you mind telling me who is making your guitar?

And if it is love for the Romantic period of music that influenced your purchase or is it simply that you like the sound & playability of that type of guitar?

It is the maker Jan Tulacek from Czech Republic who I am getting it from. Yes I do love 19th century guitar music and find the sound of a Stauffer guitar will be more enjoyable to play it on.

I have a David Argent Cedar guitar which is of the Australian lattice style. It is very warm and powerful but I look forward to the contrast in tone the Stauffer will produce.
