Hello from South Yorkshire

Post by philcan » Tue Dec 04, 2018 3:36 pm

Hi guys,

I am re-joining this forum. I studied guitar in Slovakia (A-levels in classical guitar, music theory and music history), then worked as a guitar tutor. After moving to the UK, I enjoyed being a street musician, a rock band performer and a private guitar tutor. However, then I chose a stable life of a council officer (education welfare).

But after a few years, I am now thinking about getting back to music.
Thank you
Phil

Hi Philcan,

Welcome back! I thought that name looked familiar. Please have a look at this page for an update on using the forum, including links to the rules and helpfiles. You now have access to all members' scores and recordings plus the first 3 levels of the Delcamp score collections. After you have posted 20 messages, you can apply for the 020 group, which will give you access to the remaining levels. Just ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around!

Best wishes,
Geoff

I forgot to mention that I wrote some articles for a Czech guitar magazine while I was studying journalism at university in Slovakia. My MA dissertation compared music reviews in specialised (classical) music journals and papers/magazines aimed at the general public.
Thank you
Phil
