Hello from Singapore!

Post by igeass » Thu Dec 06, 2018 3:30 pm

Hi guys!

I finally got my hands on my first classical guitar and I am super excited to learn it! I used to play the piano when I was younger so I can read the sheet music but have little to no experience in playing the guitar so it'll be a challenge.

I guess the first thing I should learn is proper posture...

If anyone knows any good teachers in Singapore, please let me know :)

Looking forward to practicing with you all!

Hey Igeass,

Welcome to the boards. There are a number of good teachers in Singapore, most of them keep a rather low profile however. I've sent you a private message mentioning those that I know of.

Best,

Thanks a lot, Robb! I will try and see if they accept beginner players like me. I may try learning a bit myself (learning all the notes on the fingerboard and chords) before I approach a teacher.
