Hello from Brazil

Post by Freibetto » Thu Jan 10, 2019 12:35 pm

My name is Jonnathan, I'm from brazil, and have an interest towards the classical guitar, reason why I'm here. I owned several guitars in my life and never past the level of actually playing a piece in them. Unfortunately the price for a good teacher was always too high to me and what I could afford didn't really help me. I watched youtube guitar lessons but I didn't have much of a discipline and, initially, two technical issues put me down: change of strings and adjustment of their height. Doing both things are necessary but they were a nightmare for me. My guitars always had their strings too close of the frets, making that noise no one likes and changing strings, despite the many videos I watched, was something I simply couldn't do. Today I'm still wanting to give another go on the instrument, although I'm not exactly sure I will. Three years ago I contracted something that gave me tremors in my limbs, with the hands being highly affected. I'm seeking medical treatment for a while but haven't got any luck so far. I still hope I do get my health fixed, until then, I'm just here to get informed about guitar stuff. Thank you for all who have read me, hope we can have nice discussions in the future :)

Welcome to the Delcamp classical guitar forum Jonnathan!

If you have not already done so, please have a look at our welcome page for more information about the forum and its rules.

You need a second post to have access to all the mp3 files and videos in our recording sections, to all members' scores and levels 1 - 3 of the Delcamp score collection, and to be able post your own scores and recordings. After more posts you may apply for access to some higher levels of sheet music in Delcamp's library (see here).

It is helpful if members include their location in their Profile. To do this click on the User Control Panel at the upper left, then the Profile tab, then enter the information.

Have fun! and welcome to Delcamp forum!
