Hello

Post by Wigan Artist » Thu Aug 22, 2019 4:19 pm

I am an artist, mostly a painter (yes this is relevant). I am also an amateur guitar player. I have messed around with guitars for years without being all that serious. I went with the visual arts because I have more natural talent in that area.

About 18 monts ago I decided I would like to create art on guitars. I then realised I needed to know more about guitars than just painting on them so I decided I needed some luthiers skills.

I started buying old junk electric guitars and making them playable. Recently I have started working on acoustic guitars as well.

While doing all this I decided I really ought to learn to play properly as well so now I take lessons and jam with friends.
