Hello from Xenia, Ohio

Post by HughONeill » Sat Aug 24, 2019 7:48 pm

I've decided once again to begin learning classical guitar. I've been down this road before, most recently in 2014. At that time, I was making pretty good progress but had to stop due to pain in my left arm, which I attributed to repetitive stress. I really love the guitar and decided to try again - but this time pay particular attention to correct technique, in the hope of avoiding injury. When I quit last time, I was working on several simple pieces by Sor and Brouwer. My motivating objective, which I think is achievable within a year, is to play Tarrega's Lagrima.
