Hello from Ketchikan Alaska

I am primarily a fingerstyle guitar player, but I enjoy learning "light" classical pieces, if they are within my abilities.
I have been playing since 1976, but somewhere along the way took many years off to raise an extended family.
During that time I barely had time to run to the bathroom, much less play guitar.
Now I have an empty nest, so I have more time for my music.
I have taken many lessons from many people over the years.
I've got a library of books and videos and sheet music that just keeps growing.
I attended the AOM (Accent On Music) guitar seminars for many years - Excellent!
Now I am taking lessons via Skype from Doug Smith, based near Portland Oregon.
He has a classical background, thus leading me to this forum.
I have played numerous instruments over my lifetime, but my primary instrument in high school and college was the trumpet.
I am most interested in fingerstyle guitar arrangements.
Currently working on Water Is Wide arranged by Mark Hanson.
Also Shenandoah, by Doug Young.
