Moving this up for the benefit of any member who missed my last post around two months ago and has been wanting a very high level luthier constructed guitar but could not afford one.

Francisco Navarro is considered a world class luthier, as numerous testimonials to his work by owners of his guitars will attest. This guitar is his top model, above even his 1A Concert model. This is his Special Grand Concert model, a copy of a Robert Bouchet classical. It looks beautiful and sounds great. New it is $4000.

The guitar has less than twenty five hours playing time, and is in mint condition. I originally posted it for $2700, which is a more than fair price for a guitar like this. I have reduced the price in increments, and I am now selling it for $2275, including free shipping.

There are numerous factory guitars selling for more that are simply not in the same class, so this is an opportunity for someone to acquire a fine instrument at a very low price.

If any member is interested in this guitar, but your budget is a bit below, let me know and I will consider a reasonable offer.

Modification of this listing. I ordered a Bouchet for my personal collection around August 2018, and asked Francisco for Bouchet bracing, but his own rosette and headstock, all of which he did.

In response to a question from a potential buyer, I checked further and it is difficult to categorize the model. It definitely has Bouchet bracing, which is obviously the most important factor. And all the other features listed are exactly as described and shown. But on closer examination some identifying features of his Special Grand Concert model are not there- a stamp on the label, and braided center seam. Possibly Francisco did not designate it as a Special Grand Concert because it was not an exact copy.

So perhaps this could best be described as a unique guitar, a custom build that is halfway between his Special Grand Concert model and his Concert model, though the Bouchet bracing puts it closer to the Special Grand Concert. That being the case, to err on the lower side I will treat it as a Concert model. Francisco’s Concert model new is $2495. It is still the same guitar – Bouchet bracing, 2018, mint condition, lightly played, looks and sounds great, but I am lowering the price to $1895.

This guitar is fully equivalent to Francisco’s Special Grand Concert Bouchet model, which is $4000, and even looks a lot better. Brand new condition. $1795
