Anon. - A La Claire Fontaine - D01 Video

Post by Christopher Langley » Sun Oct 28, 2018 2:42 am

Just a quick little nursery rhyme.

Please help me check my right hand. Trying to train myself to properly alternate m and i after months of playing incorrectly.

:merci:

Your right hand mechanics (how the fingers move) are good! The hand is stable, the fingers are working independently and efficiently and the rhythmic articulation is accurate. You're doing well with i-m alternation.

The tone could be a bit smoother.

Any advice on how to achieve a smoother tone?

That's a complex subject. Tone quality depends on an individual's fingertip and nail shapes and texture, how the fingertip moves across the string, the ear's sensitivity to tone color, a person's artistic taste, the type of strings on the guitar...

Of all those things I'd say that sensitivity is the big one.
