Hi,

Another great little piece from Per Olov. This is called Solitude. Recorded with Edirol R09HR and Colin Morrison guitar.
I hope you enjoy. Family and friends seem to like this one. Permission given by per olov to post this recording and others to the delcamp forums. See below.

Thanks for all comments. Regarding the edirol. Its a great little device. So quick to setup and use which is ideal. I tend to like it placed quite close to the guitar but i am not sure if thats making my recordings a little too heavy on the base side. Overall i am pretty pleased with it. Have thought about Apogee Duet + Rode NT5 setup but for now the edirol does the job.

I have Peo Kindgren's CD, I have his music, I subscribe to his YT channel. My observation is that this composition is, like the vast majority of his music, stuck in an introspective rut. I know he's written a handful of uptempo pieces, but this slow/romantic/beautiful pattern he has mastered is IMO now a liability. Any one of his pieces is superb; this particular piece and its performance are no exception. But taken as a whole, Kindgren's compositional output is becoming cloying and repetitious.

Thanks David. I agree i think many of his pieces are quite similar but none the less enjoyable to play. I like a number of his pieces and they are popular with family and friends who are less into classical guitar so to speak. I have been experimenting with a range of different music by per olov, marie linnemann, peter nuttall, andrew york, ralph towner etc. I guess i needed a change from the standards of Bach, Tarrega etc etc. Anyway glad you liked my little recording of this piece.
