Oh, dear Owl!

You know how your computer decides it's got a mind of it's own, right when you really want things to work the most? I logged on about 5 minutes after you posted this and was SO excited to be the first to listen to it and respond. Right then, I lost my internet connection.:nerveux:

So, now I (once again) have nothing to say that the others haven't already so eloquently expressed. Only that I agree with all of it! Except for one thing: I didn't have any trouble with the recording quality. It sounded perfect on my system!
:bravo:
You say you have more recordings?!?!? :D

Alan

ps. It's probably just as well that I didn't get to listen to it until today. You see, my beloved from London was here for a 3 week visit. It was a wonderful time! But, today was the day I had to drive her back to the airport. :(

We listened together as she was packing her things, and cried. Your playing made the moment even more poignant. I just got back from the airport and finally have a chance to respond...
:daccord:

Magnificent, Owl! Simply magnificent!

You play so clearly and with such deep feeling. You bring out the beauty of this lovely piece.

Thank you for posting this, maestro. Already, it is on my "best of Delcamp" playlist.

I hear the optimism, lonelieness, disappointment and then despair of the angel, and sometimes almost find words to go with it "I fell to Earth, did not know who would care...". Does anyone know where and how exactly this was used in the play it was composed for?

Beautiful, owl, thank you.

I love it, owl! I think I have already said everything about your magical playing, I could only reiterate myself this time. I'll only applaude :applauso: :applauso: :applauso: until the hands are hurting of course.

:bravo: :merci:

This piece does allow the listeners to imagine many scenarios, just as rocinante did. For me, it has a very beautiful, romantic feeling. It has a beautiful melody that really stays in your heart, but your phrasing and gentle dynamics allow this piece to tell its secrets.

A couple of years ago a very dear friend played this piece in a home concert and I loved it. It’s wonderful to hear your interpretation here on the forum.
Thank you for giving us another opportunity to hear you play, it is always such a pleasure.

My brother popped round today just as I was listening to this piece. Let me warn you first though Owl that he takes no prisoners when it comes to music, but this is what he had to say:

"She made me follow every brushstroke of the picture she was painting."

He always gets it right.

Thank you Owl,
Moo.
