Nice work everyone :bravo: :bravo:

I hope Chis and Jono are still in, they submitted one day late on the 15.5.

I see us both as having submitted yesterday, 05-14. Today is 5-15. Am I mistaken?

Congratulations everyone on your exam submissions. I would definitely say that the English forum made a very good showing.

Bill
William, I agree. But we not only made a good showing, in terms of performances submitted, but also in terms of numbers. I think the English Board submitted nearly half of all the submissions for D01.

Chris and Jono, I was quite concerned that your submissions risked rejection and was genuinely relieved that your submissions were accepted as your submissions were, as noted by others, past the May 14 deadline Spain/France time.

On the D02 Lesson 08 thread, there was a discussion between our moderator Colin Bullock, Ken Kim and myself about timely submissions. Colin was reminding students to post on time, as the deadline is based on Spain/France time, not US time. Spain/France time (UTC + 2) is 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time (UTC - 4). Please read the last sentence posted by Colin (which I have bolded) and keep that in mind for next year. I am really glad that all turned out well, this time around, as both your submissions were terrific. Here is Colin's response:

I agree about leaving it to last minute. So many things can go wrong, eg last night I couldn’t log in to reply to this. As Ken says, there are 3 days on which to post and doing it early on means you can correct and problems.
Just had a look at D01, they were lucky, sometimes a moderator isnt available to lock the thread exactly on time.
