What did you purchase today?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

A Nikon Coolpix L10 camera, and a new roof (shingles) for a 36' x 72' building here on the farm. My dad and I built the building in 1974. It's covered in vertical cypress boards about 10"---12" wide, with narrow strips about 2" wide covering the cracks. We put a new roof on it in 1990, and it's time for a new one.

... it's an old 4- wheel drive pickup.....2013 model....
Old?

Sounds like semi-new to me.

My older car is 2007 and I don't consider it very old. My "new" one is 2013. Both will likely outlive me unless the diesel witch-hunt in Europe causes a pre-mature demise. My 2013 has just got 85k km on it. A bit over 50k miles. I have it 2 years.

Purchases today, new window wipers for my "new" car. Some groceries.

I was thinking the same thing...lol. I still think of my '09 as "new". My '99? Not so much anymore...

A stainless steel water bowl for the dogs, with a rubber bottom which is surprisingly useful for NOT sliding around on the floor. A new stainless steel food bowl for my 10 year old dog. A new collar for my puppy since he's outgrown his baby puppy collar...and a bunch of snacks for the crew. Even though I'm mainly training the puppy, the older 3 (14, 10 and 3 years old) still want in on treats. It's pretty funny how excited (and demanding) they all are.

He offered to pay me, but I refused
That's a good thing...not many people go to so much trouble to help others. Thanks for posting.

A new modular motorcycle helmet. My current helmet is getting some age on it, and they recommend updating on a regular basis because the padding loses some effectiveness with age. I wear glasses, and a modular helmet allows you to put the helmet on without removing them.....the chin bar and face shield flips up as a unit. I used to prefer open-faced helmets until a guy I know had an accident, and hit the pavement face first!
