Guitar build is starting:suggestions welcome...

Post by MessyTendon » Sat May 25, 2019 3:19 am

Rules? There are no rules!

Fingerboard will be slotted by somebody...and I'll do the fret work.

I'm going to just use my own design. I've got ideas and talk is cheap.

Finally I have time to make something.

There is a really interesting about non conventional guitars to me. I always want to play them. Traditional guitars are nice but adjustable bolt on necks are just great too.

I wonder about an open baffle indirectly coupled top design.

Most acoustic energy theory of any competent guitar builder is scientifically utmost subjectively valid in a fourth dimension.

But I'm here...Looking at how can I make a guitar based on ineptitude and imagination. My good skills are not too good.

How would you create a removable top guitar?

Is the idea to have multiple tops for every occasion?

Since there are no rules, have you seen the Beard "A Model"?

Has a partially removable top, too :)

I'm big on romantic guitars, they are a bit unconventional at the moment but who knows, they seem to be slowly picking up popularity.
The Viennese ones have adjustable and removable necks, which I find to be a really great feature!
It's really nice being able to turn a key to adjust the action myself.
