Michael Loudermilk June bug

Post by sseidler » Thu Jun 27, 2019 7:27 am

Hi there

I recently found Mike Loudermilk's performance of his instrumental June bug on the internet and I am looking for the tabs or sheet music. Michael himself hasn't published any because he considers himself to be more of a performer than a seller of music...(that's at least what he explained to me in a private email)

Can someone help?

Are you certain it's an original of his, and not an arrangement of the Leo Kottke piece that pops up as the top hit in a google search?

You should be able to get the chords with Chordify at least ;)
Gretsch G9240 "Alligator" wood-body resonator converted to non-metal strings (China, 2018?)
Bolink baroque violin (Hilversum, 1982)
Formerly: Brian Cohen baroque violin (London, 1985), Nadegini modern violin (Paris, 1924)

Bonjour,
I'm pretty sure that it isn't the Leo Kottke song, try youtube, they are very different from each other.
That's a good idea, but still takes a lot of experimenting.
Thanx anyway. :bye:
