What music are you listening to right now?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

One of the cd’s I bought at Merlefest, Happy Traum’s, “Just for the Love of It.” He had a couple of performances and a workshop at Merlefest.

The final CD (Corriente Vital) by Ojos de Brujo.

I've been digging Khruangbin lately, especially their song White Gloves. They have a super tight, dreamy sound that just makes me melt to my seat.

Not listening to anything at this moment but recently I've been going through all the videos on the Guitar Salon International's YouTube channel. Currently my favorite song from there is Autumn Leaves by Yenne Lee. Very nice!

Cheers, Dave

This one gigue seems to be almost as difficult to play well as the last movement of Beethoven's Hammerklavier sonata:

Johann Nepomuk Hummel. Concerto for piano, violin & orchestra in G major, Op. 17

Was not aware of this composer before, but was sitting in the dentist's chair and heard some on the radio (I checked their website for the reference after the appointment). My dentist has fine taste in music.

I hear that he was a student of Mozzer and Salieri.

Love it.
