Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

The Swamp, by Michael Grunwald, a history of the Florida Everglades. A page turner, believe it or not.

reading - Teachings of Love by Thich Nhat Hanh - Buddhist related book by a great 84 year old Vietnamese Zen Monk. Pretty simply yet deep stuff on how to get along with your loved ones, and with people in general.

Listenting (audibook) to The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold - wanted to read\listen to the book after watching the movie which was good but not great.

Almost finished 'Deaf Sentence' by David Lodge. About the frustrations of gradual deafness...and aging. a number of references to Beethoven.
I don't often read thrillers, but I just finished 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. Despite myself, I did enjoy it.
A recent highlight was 'The Cello Suites'. Brilliant! three stories in one. Bach,Pablo Casals and the author's discovery and exploration of these amazing pieces of music. Unfortunately i have forgotten the authors name as I type this.
