What sheet music did you buy last and why?

Talk about things that are not necessarily related to music or the guitar.

I bought Rumores de la Caleta for 99¢ from one of those download sites on the Web. I already use the score used here on Delcamp, but there's one part (meno tempo) where I've noticed different players on YouTube play it with a variation and wanted to see a different take. Glad I did. I take a little from here and a little from there.

Dyens - Libra Sonatine. It was my teacher's idea, that I could work on Fuoco instead of learning an another Lauro valse. I always thought, that this piece is too hard for me and it is really hard, above my current level if I want to play it as fast as the pros, but it sounds harder than it is.

Just recently I went on a bit of a rampage, buying sheet music online. I am looking to start writing a guitar piece over the coming summer, and so I bought a whole load of music to look at and analyse/research. It's all stuff I've heard before, but not seen the score to, or don't own the score to.

Berio - Sequenza XI
Carter - Changes
Carter - Shard
Babbitt - Composition for Guitar
Koshkin - Toy Princes
Koshkin - Usher Waltz
Ferneyhough - Kurze Schatten II
Scelsi - Ko-Tha
Riehm - Toccata Orpheus
Murail - Tellur
Donatoni - Algo
Ginistera - Sonata
Krenek - Suite for Guitar
Henze - Royal Winter Music Sonata I
Henze - Royal Winter Music Sonata II
Britten - Nocturnal

I'm still waiting on a lot of it to arrive, but that gives me time to finish writing the things I'm currently working on, and practise a little more.

As an aside, when the Scelsi arrived, the store that sent it included a little present...

dng - I bought that after Rojas put out her CD with the same title. It is fantastic. It was missing one song, the only one I understand from Quique, he doesn't have on pdf... great pieces, though.

I feel guilty that I don't buy more. I have been playing a lot of early music and it takes me a long time to learn pieces because of my lack of expertise. I have been mostly downlading from this forum. The last thing I actually bought was the Bach 2 part inventions arranged by Stingl.

I love this forum as is probably obvious. I also really appreciate my download privileges. I even really love the arranging Jean François does. I think he has a real talent for it, and have a preference for the pieces he has arranged and fingered over the other pdfs.

However, I do have concerns about the publishing industry. Until recently they were making money off even out of copyright works. There has always seemed to be a market for Bach, Mozart, etc. now we are all getting pdfs off the internet. Even my choir is doing it. Music budgets are limited, and pdfs are seductive. If the music publishing industry goes under are we in trouble?

I have an e-reader. (Not a Kindle!) i still buy paper books to keep the publishing industry going.

I actually found a used copy of the Lauro "Sonata para guitarra" on an online auction site a couple of weeks ago. I had sought it for several years!

I just now purchased, "New Collection: Repertoir for the Classical Guitar" arranged by Igor Varfolomeev. It is 147 pages.....74 songs....a mixture of jazz, rock & pop of the 20th century. It was $40. I downloaded it from his web site. I learned about it on this forum.....had never heard of him! It's mostly intermediate level, and I'm looking forward to learning some of them.

Three Airs of Court from composer Guido Santórsola (1904-1994), because I heard Antonio Rugolo play his music in concert.
