Very sad news indeed. Just yesterday I was listening to a CD he did in collaboration with Clapton. A wonderful and soulful artist, and a master of understatement who could say so much with so few notes. He will be missed. RIP

Sad news. One of my all time favorites.

I will need to listen to "Live at the Cook County Jail" today.

RIP BB.

Eric Clapton, who's in the midst of his regular stint at the Albert Hall in London at the moment has put a short video message on his facebook site in memory. ( facebook dot com/ericclapton )

On a lighter note. U2 (the world's most over-rated band IMHO) kicked off their latest world tour last night in Vancouver, right here in sunny BC, and The Edge celebrated by strolling right off the catwalk and into the audience. I like to think that the spirit of BB had a hand in that. 8)

What can I say, I'm a bad man.
Getting better bit by bit, day by day.

One of my favorites, also. RIP BB...and thanks for playing for us all those years!

I doubt it. BB recorded "When Love comes to Town" with U2. Footage I've seen shows that they were in complete awe of him and really he seemed to have a lot of time for them.
The horse, he kept running; the rider was bread.
