If you liked Breaking Bad, Ozark! Laura Linney and Jason Bateman are great.

I like 'Detectorists' a low-key comedy about a bunch of - wait for it - Metal Detectorists! Superb acting and cast.

I very much enjoyed Ozark.

Black Mirror is scarily too-close-to-reality sci-fi, but is also excellent.

Stranger Things 2 got loaded last night. I suspect that if you didn't grow up in the US in the 70's/80's/90s it probably will not be as interesting.

Alias Grace. About the notorious 1843 murders of Thomas Kinnear and his housekeeper Nancy Montgomery in Upper Canada. Two servants of the Kinnear household, Grace Marks and James McDermott, were convicted of the crime. McDermott was hanged and Marks was sentenced to life imprisonment. Dr. Simon Jordan researches the case and becomes personally involved in the story of Grace Marks. Written by Margaret Atwood.

I rarely watch more than one season of any series, but Black Mirror S.3 E.1 (Nosedive) should be watched by everybody grade 7 and up, IMHO!
I would make it a mandatory part of any Social Studies course.

I, too, liked Alias Grace very much. Also, Mindhunter and Black Mirror were superb.

Do these have to be Netflix series?
If not then these are worth a watch....

Person of Interest with Jim Cavaziel was quite good and very much relates to our current times of terrorism.

UK Mini-series Utopia was good

Banshee was mad but entertaining
Orphan black looks promising
The Wire was excellent.
(only watched the 1st season of the previous 3).

Trying out American Gods but that's on the "Jungle" channel so definitely not Netflix!!
