Alias Grace. About the notorious 1843 murders of Thomas Kinnear and his housekeeper Nancy Montgomery in Upper Canada. Two servants of the Kinnear household, Grace Marks and James McDermott, were convicted of the crime. McDermott was hanged and Marks was sentenced to life imprisonment. Dr. Simon Jordan researches the case and becomes personally involved in the story of Grace Marks. Written by Margaret Atwood.

I haven't seen it but another Margaret Atwood book was turned into a mini-series, the Handmaid's Tale with Elizabeth Moss which has had good reviews I believe.

Yes, I like it too. I've seen the first two episodes and hope the time shifts eventually get cleared up! My main complaint is the overbearing soundtrack--seems needlessly menacing and too high in the mix at times.

Broadchurch, season 3. Every time I watch Olivia Colman I think that she is probably the best actress around. But then... all actors and actresses in Broadchurch are phenomenal.

Liked Hell on Wheels and House of Cards but especially Marco Polo. A major bingewatcher.
Love both of these also. Are they going to make another season of Marco Polo? I could also recommend Frontier and the Last Kingdom. 8)

"Black Mirror", by far.

Also today I've found one that seems both good and close to our hearts: "Memories of the Alhambra" ;-)

Phryne Fisher Murder Mysteries. A great period show in 1929 Australia.
Death in Paradise. Quirky. Beautiful locations. But my wife wonders who would want to live on a small, Caribbean resort island where someone is murdered every week!

I'm an 80s kid, so I loved Stranger Things. I don't know how Season 3 could possibly live up to the first two.

I just started "The Kaminsky Method". Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, but two great actors (Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas) and a wonderful script.

I've just watched "You" and liked it a lot! Sometimes it is just silly comedy but don't think it is all about fun! :)
