Re: guitar99 - merged topics

I listened to your midi version of Carulli's Trois Jours and some things didn't sound right. Had a quick look on my editio musica budapest copy as well as the pdf of the old edition (from Boijie ?) and found the following mistakes in the first page of your score:
bar 4 last two notes are both e, not d e.
Bar 6 f and a flat chord is repeated when it shouldn't be, messing up the whole bar
bar 12 the last 3 notes are d c b flat, not a g f

Not sure if this is the right place to be giving such feedback or whether you prefer being pm'ed
(Gr) (En) (very little Fr)

Thank you very much for notifying us on the errors in Carulli's Op. 331. We have looked into our sources, indeed you were right. The errors are corrected:

We are sill not sure 100% about bar 6 as the values of the notes in the source files do not add to the time signature of 6/8. We have made the best possible guess.

Your contribution is of a great help to us, we encourage you to contact us if you find some more errors at your earliest convenience.

Thank ou once again.

Dear Friends

Today is the last day of 2010. For us at guitar99, it was an amazing year. We have published the site in January 2009 and in this first year we have had less than 800 unique visitors. We are ending this year with 12 times more unique visitors coming from more than 80 countries all around the world. This is a great recognition of our work and encouragement to sustain our efforts for many years to come. As a sign of gratitude to all of you, we have decided to further postpone charging moderate subscription for music access. All of the content will be completely free until April 1st 2011. Enjoy:

Today is the last day of 2011. Another pleasant and successful year for all of us at guitar99. Two years ago we have had only 800 unique visitors to the site, this year we are ending with 15500 unique visitors from all around the world. They have visited almost 25000 of our web pages resulting in almost two million hits. This is for all of us great encouragement to continue our endeavor.

This year we have added works of A. Barrios, N. Coste and A. Lauro to our library and are planning further publications with the current and new composers. As pre-announced on several occasions, soon we will have to require a registration and a modest membership fee in order to proceed with our work. Until this time please enjoy our CG publications:
