Scarlatti, Domenico - K531 - Video

Post by Desperado » Tue Oct 09, 2018 5:06 pm

Just got in from work recorded this three times. First time the dog expelled an enormous gust of wind, second time I missed most of the notes - I would like to say third time luck but alas no more wrong notes and a missed place finger and foot at the end.
Great transcription inspired by barruecos fabulous recording.

Cool! Where did you find this transcription? I used to play this (badly) on piano, I'd love the opportunity to play it badly on guitar as well :)

Cheers,
Iulian

Hi iulian,
I used manual baruecco's recording for the basis of my transcription. I think he may have published this one as a collection of five sonatas under Tonar Music publications. Previously I think he published some sonatas under Schott.
It's a tricky sonata for the left hand - good luck.

Thanks! if does look tricky, I'll put it on the to do list for when I'm a bit more up to scratch.
