Very well done. Your thumb position looks good too.

I like it. I also like the arrangement you are playing better than the arrangement I play.

I made this recording last summer and decided to post it here. Hope that's ok. This version is from Solo Guitar Playing Book (F. Noad). You may notice I'm hitting adjacent strings at times while playing this. I suspect my nails were getting too long, but not sure. Anyway, I struggled with getting clear tones on this one. A work in progress nevertheless.

I made another recording. I'm going to make one more yet, because I was fumbling the last descending line part, I'm sure you guys will notice. I listened to another recording and have it down now..

Learning process, as always. So, here is attempt no 2. no 3 will be soon. :merci:

Great playing, Christopher! Keep up the good work.
I am endeavouring to set up something pretty basic for recording sound/video. Would appreciated if you could spare a little of your practice time to tell me what the basics of your system are.
Regards,
Robert.

Front facing camera on an LG K20+ using built in microphone. You can get an acceptable recording with most phones these days! I prop it up on it's side on my desk leaning against whatever is handy.

Many thanks, Christopher, for your prompt response. Appreciated.
You have quite reasonable results using your phone. My daughter has given me her old iPhone - I shall give it a try and see what I can come up with.
Thank you again and keep up your good work!
Regards.

Iphones work great.

I have found the older ones don't always agree with the YouTube app. I found it easier to use the built in camera to record and then upload to YouTube using the app as a second step (you can trim beginning and end at this step).

Be sure to install the YouTube app.
