Bravo. A very fine performance.

This piece is deceptively difficult.

I returned to it oh, close to 20 years after learning it (poorly) far too early. Why my college instructor gave it to me is still a mystery to me. I was NOT ready, and was quite frustrated trying to learn it because my goal was to play it well. I understand why it is included in the late grades of the RCM Guitar Series.

Thanks, Owl, for reposting the file, which I've now used to replace the corrupted version.

I didn't realise about the 2 stings trills either, thanks for that!
I can't play it quickly but I must say I like it played slowly with expression - not fond of the allegro versions e.g. Scott Tennant belting along like a mechanical music box.
I found Delcamp's fingering really useful and liberating compared to various tabs I'd looked at.

Nice to see wonderful performances like this bumped forward.
Scarlatti’s music is special and unique yet I can’t figure out why exactly. I’m glad I spent time listening to Scarlatti years ago. A real treat.

Thanks for listening Smith... yes, I guess when a recording has been around for as long as this one it gets delegated to the back blocks
Sometimes I forget myself what I have posted here so to see one pop up is a bit of a lift

Thank you for sharing!

Definitiverly top notch! :bravo:

Loved the ornaments, appropriate for the historical period imho.
Abraços,
Maurizio
