Thanks for posting. Mr. Zander is a national treasure. His work with singers is also remarkably insightful. For example, watch his videos on Schubert's Lieder. Wunderbar! While I have found it to be the case that student guitarists often do not get a well-rounded musical education, guitar students are not the only ones with this issue. In any event it is so encouraging to read these posts. It shows that a number of guitarists clearly "get it," and fully recognize the value of Mr. Zander's teaching. Bravo!

Thanks for posting. I've been reading Zen Guitar and Zander reflects some of the very same principles in the book. It's not just about technique but involves feeling and expression and Zander helps us understand how we can apply broader aspects of cg playing and bring our playing to a level of art or individual artistic creative interpretation; unique to the piece but also to ourselves.
