The third Royal Greenwich Guitar Festival, London will take place from Sunday June 25th – Tuesday June 27th 2017 at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance situated on the magnificent grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. Recital artists will include Carlo Marchione, Graham Anthony Devine and John Mills. Many of the events are completely free to attend, including two of the evening recitals, all lunchtime recitals and public masterclasses and lectures. RGGF 2017 will also hold a luthier's EXPO with some of the UK's very finest guitar makers and luthiers from Europe displaying wonderful instruments. A makers demonstration concert will take place at 6pm on Tuesday 27th June. Again, admission free.

There is also a festival classical guitar course which will feature lessons and course masterclasses from all of the concert artists plus guest tutors Charles Ramirez, Cobie Smit and Fiona Harrison. The course, which is suitable for players from grade 1+ standard , has a strong emphasis on ensemble playing with chamber music sessions as well as a guitar orchestra. There are performance classes which will cover topics such as making the most of practise sessions, technical tips etc. and each student will also receive two thirty-minute private lessons over the duration of the festival.
