Post by Whooper » Thu Apr 10, 2008 7:06 am

Hi, dear all,

Does anybody know a solo guitar piece for Giulio Caccini's Ave Maria?

I found a free copy in net but piano version.

Thanks

Grab it as long as it is available ;-)
The nice story behind this piece is that it was composed by Vladimir Fyodorovich Vavilov. Together with other pieces he recorded a Vinyl Album and just wrote other Composers names behind so it would sell better. On the original recording he plays a lute accompagnement to the singing voice which goes like this:

My favorite arrangement is this:

As I didn't find the score anywhere I transcribed it from the recording (and put Vavilovs chords as intro). For "scientific studying reasons" it is allowed to contact me per PM.
