Pierre: I was thinking about your Rompre the other day, and how if I hadn't already got my cedar Lee guitar that i now could buy yours. Still after almost 10 years I am fascinated with the guitar. It is much like yours except spruce with Madagascar rosewood. There is little more I can say except i think anyone buying this will have a wonderful guitar.

I might add that Jean Rompre's guitar building has been strongly influenced by Friedrich, Field, and other famous french luthiers.

Hi Sherman!

I like very much that guitar but I need a bigger neck width at the nut to accommodate that big hand that nature gave to me!

These are fascinating instruments, and I came close to buying one that was for sale in Montreal. I am wondering: is this one braced in carbon fiber in a fan pattern (a Friederich-pattern perhaps)? Or are the bracings wood?

I know this one has carbon fiber and wood in the bracing.

Pierre,
You should post a sound clip of this guitar. I've heard your recording of this guitar and to my ear at least I could not detect anything but a "traditional" sound.
But this from the owner of No 87, so maybe I am prejudiced.

Just entering this site. Lots to look at.

This add is quite dated - is the guitar still available by any chance?

Thanks

Marc
