Nice one, Jon. I hear in your piece a clean, fresh quality speaking of a clear early morning. Before the daily stuff
gets in the way. A really nice recording: that Peluso seems a worthy "love-child" to the Neumann family.
Oh, did I mention the playing was excellent on that marvellous sounding Dedain . . .
Thank's martinardo. The Peluso is a great microphone, very clear and responsive, for better and for worse
You really do need to play well because it catches everything. I'm thinking of getting a pair of Neumann km184, for the stereo effect and hopefully they will be a little bit more forgiving? This I don't know. The Dedain is an interesting guitar. It's a lattice spruce, but really doesn't sound like it, way more traditional (to my ears).
Feel free to ask me anything about Japanese classical guitars.
