Sounds really good, Alain. That probably isn't an easy piece to play either. And it's good to see you back to making your videos. I think the acoustics in that room are really working. It might be a good place to keep doing your videos.

I love Sonata No. 11. The Allemande is one of my favorite.

Thanks Glen! Yes, the sound is much better here, no doubt, and, yes, not it's easy to play, especially hitting the right basses!

Nice!

Love your guitar too - Michael Thames Dresden is it?

Is that a Tascam or Zoom recorder?

Beautiful playing of a beautiful piece. I wonder if a transcription for standard 6-string guitar exists and whether it would do the music justice..

This is the score for the performance below, but it's very messy notation. It is possible to figure it out though if you're patient.

Edit - this is way better, although may or may not match the video.

Thanks Soltirefa for the links. Both transcritpions lie well under the fingers and sound nice, but, as suspected, the music does lose quite some of its impact without those deep guttural resonances. Time to get a few more strings on that guitar :-)

And it's a lot easier to play with the original tuning!

Great looking guitar and is sounds so wonderful! I especially like the deep bases! The piece sounded really good, thanks for sharing!
