Thank you MessyTendon for your interest in my work.

I am the inventor and maker of the strings that Smaro interprets with, in different tunings.I would strongly recommend that you view pages 1 and 2 of my Delcamp thread with the title:"Kertsopoulos Aesthetics" strings in normal & high tuning-The how and the why" at the link:viewtopic.php?f=46&t=114167&start=15.

You will be informed in these pages of the specific thread of the seven different tunings that my sets produce, and the different materials of the strings provided in each different set. Metalonylon strings, as you will observe are used on the typical set that produces the known normal tuning where 0 Fret = 0 Fret tuning of: E,A,D,G,B,E, however, these metalonylon strings are used on higher tunings also. For instance in the last two videos posted here in this thread, Smaro plays a major third higher in tuning, where the sixth string is G# and 0 Fret tuning = 4th Fret tuning of: G#,C#,F#,B,D#,G#. If then you are interested in exactly the sound produced by Smaro on these last two videos posted you would have to order exactly the set that produces this tuning, that includes metalonylon strings but it is the set 0 Fret = 5th Fret tuning, which also gives the 4th fret tuning equally well, a major third higher than normal. If you would like, however, the normal typical set of 0 Fret = 0 Fret tuning, then you can order, accordingly this set. If interested, you can email me at: gkertsopoulos@yahoo.gr
Cheers, Yorgos

Greensleeves (anonymous) played on three guitars by Konstantina Kertsopoulou, Thanos Giannakopoulos and Konstantinos Apoostolakis. Arrangement for three guitars by: Dionysia Blazaki and Yorgos Kertsopoulos. Konstantina plays a guitar tuned an octave higher from common tuning and Thanos and Konstantinos play on double course guitars tuned with octave differences between the courses. Strings, guitar upgrades, support-amplifier and passive soundboard equalizer-amplifiers by Y. Kertsopoulos.

Konstantinos plays to welcome year 2018 at New Year's Eve, a variation on Zorba's theme and a "Malaguena" finale. Guitar used is a Guernica 2007 Model 6 resting on the Kertsopoulos guitar support-amplifier version: "Superior". Recording of video has been with the T1000 tablet of Mediatek and the sound has been left natural as recorded by the tablet with no mastering, filtering or effects been used.

Dimitrios Kalogeras interprets his arrangement of "Thalassaki" a Greek folk song, on a 12 string-double course guitar, of re-entrant tuning. Video shows the re-entrant tuning of the guitar and the passive amplifying system of Yorgos kertsopoulos, as this is used in the performance.

Yorgos Kertsopoulos interprets his work "Marathonas" on a double course guitar in re-entrant tuning, each course tuned in octave or two octaves difference. The Kertsopoulos guitar support-amplifier version: "Superior" with the complete passive amplifying system is used on the guitar amplifying its original sound more than 185%. For more info. please refer to the video itself.

A video showing in detail the Kertsopoulos Guitar Support -Amplifier version: "Superior" and also, the acoustical tone-timber passive amplifiers-equalizers that complete the range of amplifiers-enhancers. Yorgos Kertsopoulos interprets on a double course guitar his composition "Marathonas". The guitar rests on the "Kertsopoulos guitar support-amplifier" made by Y.Kertsopoulos and its sound is constantly acoustically (and not electrically) amplified. Also, 3 passive equalizers-amplifiers are placed on the guitar as shown on the video. Recording is made with the ΖΟΟΜ Q3HD (as is) at a distance of 2.2 meters and no digital mastering or sound effects have been applied to the recording.Photos and Videos by: George Tsopoulos, many thanks!

Yorgos Kertsopoulos performs using his innovation guitar support -amplifier version: "Superior" and two passive guitar's acoustical Timbre-Tone Equalizing Amplifiers "small" version, all attached on the double course guitar amplifying and equalizing the sound. Measurements have been taken and graphs are presented of SPL (db-dbA) meter, first measuring the room's threshold environment with no sound whatsoever (ambient sound) at 33db. Then, measurement of the guitar;s sound one meter away from the SPL meter, without the amplifiers-equalizers giving an average reading of 70 dbA and measurement of the guitar's sound one meter away from the SPL meter, with the amplifiers-equalizers giving an average reading of 80 dbA. This 10 dbA average difference in the readings is perceived by the human perception as doubling of the volume (loudness). In SPL (Sound Pressure Level) criteria this difference of 10 dbA, between 70 dbA and 80 dbA is an increase of ten times more when the reading is 80 dbA in contrast to the 70 dbA. The innovation support-amplifier and equalizers are strictly pathetic acoustical members enhancing in an acoustical manner the sound of the guitar. They are not connected in any way to electrically or electronically working devices of any sort. As musical instruments, intonation is achieved to them, at all acoustical frequencies, they become an extension of the acoustical chamber-body resonator of the instrument itself upgrading the sound of any classical-flamenco or steel string acoustic guitar. An excerpt from his composition "magnapeiron" is performed in room conditions by Yorgos Kertsopoulos. The video of playing is taken by Apostolakis Konstantinos in room conditions at a distance of 1.7 m from the source and the recording has been left as recorded, no effect or mastering has been done on the sound. It is given here as recorded from the ZOOM Q8, as raw wave sound at 44.1 Khz.
