Gary Lee is located in northern New Jersey (in Wayne, in Passaic County). He has an excellent reputation and is a great guy. Be forewarned that his waiting list for a new instrument is currently about 6 years, I believe. You can learn more about his work on his website....just Google "Garrett Lee luthier" and you'll find him.

Matthew Rubendall is in Brooklyn just across the bridge from Manhattan. Makes a phenomenal guitar.
Search online and youtube and you will see.

If I were in New York area I would go to savage guitars. He has a huge selection of luthier guitars from all over the world in all price ranges. This would give you the ability to try guitars in person and compare them side by side.

Are you looking for guitar makers or for someone to do repairs?
